He began his studies with Riccardo Bini and then continued them at the “Luigi Cherubini” Conservatory in Florence where he graduated with full marks and honors with Alfonso Borghese. He wins numerous national and international competitions both as a soloist and in various chamber ensembles. He is a teacher at the State Conservatory of Music “Tito Schipa” at the headquarters of Ceglie Messapica (BR) and artistic director of the “Giulio Rospigliosi” Guitar Competition. He plays an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad. Together with the pianist Luca Torrigiani he recorded the album “Italian Music for Guitar and Piano” for the Velut Luna record label, containing four first ever recordings. With the “FareLive!” label he has recorded a monographic cd with music by Francesco De Santis. He plays a guitar built for him by the Japanese luthier Masaki Sakurai. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival”.
