FRANCESCO DE ZAN

Piano

Graduated with honors from the Conservatory of Padua, he studied with various masters such as Gino Gorini, Edith Fischer, Alexis Weissemberg, Martha del Vecchio and Bruno Bettinelli. An intense concert activity has led him to play with success with audiences and critics in many Italian and foreign cities, performing about 400 concerts, always within consolidated concert seasons and well-known music festivals. For several years he has been dedicating himself to the chamber repertoire collaborating with well-known musicians, such as: the violinists Valery Oistrakh, Francesco Manara, Stefano Pagliani, and others. In the summer of 2011, he was invited by the Spoleto “Festival dei Due Mondi” to hold the first performance of the melologue “La Realtà” to texts by P. P. Pasolini and music by F. E. Scogna with the participation of actor Claudio Santamaria. At the same time as his concert activity, he graduated in Philosophy in 1994 at the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. He is a professor of Chamber Music at the “L. Canepa” of Sassari. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival”.
