Double bass

He began studying double bass at the age of 14, at the “F. Venezze” of Rovigo, under the guidance of Maestro F. Acocella of Florence, graduating at the age of 20 with full marks. After his studies he completed his studies at the Wroclaw Academy of Music in Poland, obtaining a diploma of merit under the guidance of Maestro A. Kresta. With the European Orchestra he has been conducted in the most prestigious theaters in the world by various world-renowned conductors including: A. Dorati, L. Bernstein, C. Abbado, obtaining from the latter a reference of merit and the first-place double bass during the final tour. He collaborates with chamber and symphonic orchestras also as first double bass. He has participated in numerous recordings for which in 1995 he obtained the Antonio Vivaldi International Record Award with the Quintet “L’ Arte dell’arco “. Currently he carries out concert activities with the Italian Philharmonic and the Venetian Interpreters. In the jazz field he collaborated with Tullio De Piscopo and in duo with M. Tonolo. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival”.
