He obtained the Diploma of Professional in piano at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory and later the Higher Diploma at the Conservatory of Music Liceu in Barcelona. He continued his musical training in Paris, with Aquiles delle Vigne, at the École Normale de Musique “Alfred Cortot” and in the United States with Luiz de Moura Castro. During his career he has participated in numerous master classes in various locations in Europe and the United States. His international career as a pianist has taken him around Europe, America and Asia. He has made numerous music recordings for Ars Harmonica and KNS-classical music companies and has also recorded for RNE, Catalunya Música, Radio France, BBC London and Classic FM Australia. Since 1987 he has had a four-hand piano duet with his wife Sofia Cabruja. He has often been invited to conduct Master-Classes in Spain, Italy, Belgium, Greece, China and Singapore. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival”.
