VALENTINO ZUCCHIATTI

Bassoon

He studied bassoon with masters Voiko Cesar and Gilberto Grassi. He met the master Vincenzo Menghini in Turin with whom he graduated three years later with honors. In ’84 he won the competition of first bassoon in the Orchestra of the Teatro alla Scala thus becoming also first bassoon of the homonymous Philharmonic, since then he collaborates in all the tours, recordings and television recordings of the prestigious orchestra. He has recorded as a soloist a Vivaldi concerto with Riccardo Muti and the Filarmonica della Scala for EMI. In 2002 he made an important tour that led him to perform as a soloist at the Musikverein in Vienna and at La Scala. Former lecturer at the specialization courses of Riva del Garda and regularly invited to the international Masterclasses of Hamamatsu, he currently teaches at the Specialization Courses of Cividale del Friuli, and is a teacher at the annual academies of high orchestral specialization of the Teatro alla Scala in Milan and the Arturo Toscanini Foundation in Parma. He is a guest of the Association as part of the XXIV edition of the International Chamber Music Festival 2022.
