He began studying bandoneon at the age of 9 in the “barrios” of Buenos Aires. At 17 he was elected “revelation of the bandoneon” by the National Tango Academy of Buenos Aires. In 1999 he left Argentina and settled in France. In July 2007 he conducted the Opera María de Buenos Aires, represented at the National Theater of Lisbon with his Quintet “El Después” and the soloists of the National Symphony Orchestra of Portugal. Since 2013 he is the official bandoneonist of the singer and actress Ute Lemper with whom he performs in the main halls of the world: the Paris Philharmonic, the Frankfurt Opera, the Royal Albert Hall. He performs as a soloist with the Radio France Symphony Orchestra Pays de la Loire Philharmonic Orchestra, the Moritzburg Festival Orchestra (Germany), the Stockholm Jazz Orchestra (Sweden) and the Brussels Jazz Orchestra (Belgium Ask). Thanks to his teaching experience he contributed significantly to the creation of Yvonne Hahn’s bandoneon class at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional du Grand Avignon. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “ARTango & Jazz Festival”.
