ANTONIO VALENTINO

He graduated in piano at the G. Verdi Conservatory in Turin and in chamber music at the Vienna Conservatory. He gives life to the project Atelier Parigi, aimed at rediscovering the chamber repertoire French between ‘800 and’ 900. He collaborates in several projects promoted by the Teatro Regio di Torino, including the Italian premiere of Man and Boy by M. Nyman, among the projects of the Piccolo Regio Laboratorio, two have engaged him as arranger / performer. He is part of the Trio Debussy that in 1993 debuted at the Grosser Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna with the Triple Concerto in C major. by Beethoven; and that, to date, is the longest-lived Italian trio and one of the rare full-time trios on the international scene. He is an author and book consultant for the music company Ricordi/Hal Leonard. In May 2015 the Sky Classica program “Contrappunti” dedicated an episode to him. From 2021 he has been appointed artistic director of the Unione Musicale di Torino. He has been a guest of the Association as part of the XXIV edition of the International Chamber Music Festival 2022.
