STANISLAW PAJAK

Double bass

Stanislaw Pajak was born in Bielsko-Biała in Poland. At the age of 16 he started his Double Bass education. From 2002 to 2004 he studied the Double Bass with Bonawentura Nancka at the Rostock Musikhochschule in Germany. In 2005 he became a pupil of Esko Laine at Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Stanisław Pajak was a scholarship student of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra ( 2001-2003 )and the Oscar and Vera Ritter Foundation as well as a scholar of Berlin’s Rundfunk-Sinfonieorchester ( 2005-2006)and Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker ( 2006-2008) as Student of Klaus Stoll. In 2008 he played with the Dresdner Philharmonie as well as assistant principal bass with the Bamberger Symphoniker before taking up his position in 2011 with the Berliner Philharmoniker. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association, with the string quintet of the Berliner Philharmoniker, as part of the ARTango&Jazz Festival, XIII edition 2022.
