D’Amato Giovanna
She graduated in cello at the “Licinio Refice” Conservatory in Frosinone. She has undertaken international concert activity mainly in the chamber sector. As a member of the Meridies Quartet, she has established herself in various national competitions, also making some record works. To her musical activity she associates the creative one more generally, which sees her engaged in the conception, production and direction of successful music-theater formats. Teacher for the chair of ensemble music for stringed instruments at the “Niccolò Piccinni” Conservatory in Bari, she is involved in the world of school with particular interest in issues relating to the approach to music and its use in various fields. She is a member of the Regional Promoting Committee for the 2013 Gesualdi Celebrations as well as Coordinator and Head of the Technical-Scientific Committee. In November 2017 she was the winner of the call for the Coordination of the Music Area of the Lucana Film Commission. She was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of “I Tramonti di Porto Flavia”.
