He is considered one of the most representative Italian flutists of his generation. After Diplomas in Italy and France (Conservatory of Lyon) at the famous School of Maxence Larrieu, he made his debut in 1982 as a soloist with the RAI Symphony Orchestra. Hence the beginning of a brilliant career that led him to Europe, the United States and Latin America, Asia. He is a soloist, among others, with orchestras: “I virtuosi di Praga”, Ensemble of Tokyo, Tübinger Kammerorchester, etc. There are several radio-television and CD recordings (Camerata Tokyo, Universal). He received the International Chamber Music Award in Kyoto, performed for the G20 in Guatemala City, in 2011 he was awarded the European Award for Artistic and Cultural activities in Prague and in 2018 he was awarded the BMIMF Best Artist at the Korean Busan Maru Festival. He has been invited as an Instrument Expert at the Higher Conservatory of Lausanne and the Higher Conservatory of Lyon. He teaches at the Conservatoire de la Vallée d’Aoste. He is often a guest of the Anton Stadler Association on several occasions, as part of the International Chamber Music Festival.
