He graduated from the Conservatory of Turin in 1989. He immediately began to perfect himself with Franco Gulli, Corrado Romano and Boris Kuschnir. He obtained a diploma of merit in Duino and a diploma in chamber music at the Vienna Conservatory. He has been a guest at: the Unione Musicale di Torino, the Accademia Chigiana di Siena, the IUC di Roma, the Sociedad filarmonica di Valencia, the Biennale di Zagreb, the Festival di Dubrovnic, to name a few. He is part of the Trio Debussy that in 1993 debuted at the Grosser Saal of the Musikverein in Vienna with the Triple Concerto in C major. by Beethoven; and that, to date, is the longest-lived Italian trio and one of the rare full-time trios on the international scene. Piergiorgio Rosso has made numerous radio recordings for RAI, he teaches violin at the Conservatory of Turin and chamber music at the Accademia Superiore di Pinerolo. He played as a solo violin alongside the singer-songwriter Paolo Conte with whom he has been collaborating since 2008. He is a guest of the Association as part of the XXIV edition of the International Chamber Music Festival 2022.
