The Italian pianist Marco Schiavo studied at the Conservatory of Avellino where he graduated with honors. Later he studied in Salzburg, Moscow and Imola with the famous masters Aldo Ciccolini, Sergei Dorenski and Franco Scala and made his international debut in 1992 with two concerts in Moscow and St. Petersburg. During his brilliant concert career, he was invited to perform by prestigious institutions, all over the world, in major cities such as Rome, Milan (Sala Verdi), Paris, Madrid, Berlin (Philharmonie), Munich (Herkulessaal and Gasteig), Prague (Rudolfinum and Smetana Hall) Tokyo, Singapur, Hong-Kong, Bangkok, Sydney (Opera House), Dubai, New York (Carnegie Hall), Buenos Aires (Teatro Colon), Sao Paulo (Sala Sao Paulo), Vienna (Musikverein and Konzerthaus). He has played with important orchestras such as the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, etc. He teaches piano at the Pontenza Conservatory, has held special courses and international masterclasses (Japan, USA, Australia, Mexico, Brazil, Kazakhstan).
He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival” and “Colori e Notes”.
