LUCA AMBROSIO

Harpsichord

He graduated in piano with D. Manigrasso and in harpsichord with full marks from the “V. Bellini” in Catania and at the School of Higher Musical Perfection in Saluzzo. He studied at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis in Basel with JB Christensen and attended courses in harpsichord and chamber music with F. Bonizzoni, LF Tagliavini and G. Paronuzzi, in medieval and Renaissance musical semiography with G. Acciai, in jazz and contemporary music with G. Gaslini, F. D’Andrea and C. Canonici. He has been collaborating for several years with the Sicilian Institute of Ancient Music, the Baroque chamber ensemble Harmoniosi Concenti, the enslemble Il Cortile delle Palme, the Les Elements Baroque Orchestra, the Accademia degli Erranti, Festa Rustica and other ensembles and soloists specialized in the performance of ancient music on original instruments. He has worked several times for the prose theater, taking care of the choice, execution and direction of incidental music for plays by Euripides and Brecht, and comedies by Goldoni. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the “International Chamber Music Festival”.
