LUIGI GIACHINO

Giachino Luigi
Graduated in piano and composition with full marks at the Turin Conservatory with M. Gachet and G. Bosco, he continued his studies with Vincenzo Vitale and Giorgio Ferrari. He holds a certificate of specialization from CEE in composition, arrangement and conducting of extra-cultured music. His chamber, symphonic and lyrical works are periodically performed in concerts and recordings. He is the author of ballets, stage music and screens for various clients including Raidue, Torino Spettacoli, Ministry of the Environment. Often engaged in concerts, masterclasses and competition juries, from 2004 to 2007 he was a lecturer at the University of Turin and Genoa and music director of the Extracampus university television. He has carried out musical activities in France, Spain, Germany, Austria, the Principality of Monaco, Syria, Slovenia, Romania, Switzerland, Belgium and Japan. Since 1990 he has held the chair of Composition at the Conservatory of Genoa, where he is the referent of the department and academic advisor. He was a guest of the Anton Stadler Association as part of the International Chamber Music Festival.
