He began his musical training in Cagliari at the “Pierluigi da Palestrina” Conservatory, under the guidance of Arlette Giangrandi Eegmann, graduating with full marks and honors. He specializes in Piano, Composition and Multimedia Arts at the Sweelinck Conservatorium in Amsterdam. Following a successful tour with the famous Macedonian fanfare “Kocani Orkestar”, he releases an intense live CD “Romeo Scaccia meets Kocani Orkestar”, produced by the Berlin Jazzverkstatt. Protagonist at the Shanghai Universal Expo, as the only European artist invited to the prestigious China Pavilion, in collaboration with the Chinese artist Shan Shan Sheng. In 2014 he was awarded the representative medal of the Presidency of the Senate of the Republic “For his outstanding artistic qualities and for the constant search for new expressions between visual art, acting and music, which favor essential tools for training and cultural exchanges”. He fresh from the success of the recent tour in the United States and Canada crowned by the concert at the CBS “Gleen Gould” studios in Toronto with very high and enthusiastic audience participation. He is often a guest of the Anton Stadler Association for the International Chamber Music Festival and for the ARTango & jazz Festival.
