Hahn Yvonne
Multifaceted musician, since 2014 he has been teaching as a bandoneon teacher at the CRR du Grand Avignon. After a childhood spent between Moscow and East Berlin, Yvonne Hahn studied classical music at the Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. In 1987 she won the chamber music competition in Klingenthal, Germany. After the fall of the wall, she moved to France and continued her studies at the Conservatory of Avignon and Marseille. In the following years she devoted herself to teaching piano at the CRR Grand Avignon and to chamber music concert projects in various ensembles. She begins to study the bandoneon as a self-taught and continues learning with M° Victor Hugo Villena, M° Juan José Mosalini and M° Juanjo Mosalini, using both systems, uni and bisonoro. Furthermore, she collaborates with the Bandionion & Concertinafabrik factory in Klingenthal (Germany) to improve the instrument’s workmanship and promote a unified model in Europe. In 2016 she realizes the 1st edition of the “European Bandoneon Days” and starts a cultural exchange between her bandoneon class in Avignon and that of Maestro Fabio Furia in Cagliari (Italy). Every year she is a guest of the Anton Stadler Association for ARTango & jazz Festival and as a teacher of the Bandoneon International Masterclass.
