Abis Francesco
Born in Sassari, he graduated in 2007 from the “L. Canepa” of Sassari where he achieved, with full marks and honors, the two-year second level specialist in cello. He has participated in various seminars and advanced courses with cellists: D. Maghendanz, A. Nannoni, A. Nappi, R. Witt, A. Pettinau, M. Scano, L. Fiorentini, L. Piovano and for chamber music with the Quartetto di Fiesole, the Trio di Trieste, and the Masters M. Jones, D. Zaltron, S. Redaelli, L. Simoncini, E. Bronzi and A. Milani. He has to his credit various concerts as a soloist with orchestra and as a chamber musician in duo with piano, in trio, in quartet and quintet at: the concert hall “P. Sassu” of the Conservatory of Sassari, Verdi Theater, Civic Theater and Circolo Bande di Sassari, etc. He collaborates with various orchestral formations: Orchestra of the Conservatory of Sassari, Orchestra of the Concerts Organization “M. de Carolis “, Orchestra of the Lyric Institute of Cagliari, Philharmonic Orchestra of Sardinia with which he took part in some tours abroad. He was a guest of the Association in the context of “Colori e Note” and “I tramonti di Porto Flavia”.
