I TRAMONTI DI PORTO FLAVIA – X EDITION 2026

The wait is over! From July 19 to August 9, 2026, the most anticipated summer music festival in the Sulcis Iglesiente area returns. Now in its tenth edition, I Tramonti di Porto Flavia will once again bring the magic of live music to one of Sardinia’s most evocative settings: the sun setting over the sea, with the silhouette of Pan di Zucchero dominating the horizon and the splendid backdrop of Porto Flavia making every evening a unique experience.

The festival will open on Sunday, July 19, with the Alma Trio’s concert “From Classical to Swing,” featuring Palma Di Gaetano on flute, Giordano Muolo on clarinet, and Ciro Galeone on guitar. A musical journey spanning different eras and styles, blending classical elegance with captivating rhythms.

Sunday, July 26 will feature “Sighida,” a project starring Mauro Palmas on the mandola and cantabile lute and Giacomo Vardeu on the accordion. A fusion of sounds and sensibilities rooted in folk tradition, presented to the audience with great intensity and authenticity.

The following Sunday, August 2, the Blue Tango Quartet will perform “New Tango.” The quartet features Fabio Furia (bandoneon), Giacomo Riggi (vibraphone), Giovanni Chiaramonte (double bass), and Marco Schirru (piano), who will take the audience on a journey blending tango, jazz, and classical music, paying tribute to two pivotal figures: Astor Piazzolla and Gary Burton.

The Festival will close on Sunday, August 9, with “Nun me scetà. Naples: Poesia e sogni,” a performance featuring the voice of Maurizio Pellegrini, accompanied by Valerio Fusillo on mandolin and Nicola Nesta on guitar. A tender and passionate tribute to the great Neapolitan musical tradition, blending poetry, nostalgia, and beauty.

Four events, four sunsets, one extraordinary setting. The combination of music, good food, and breathtaking scenery once again makes I Tramonti di Porto Flavia one of the most anticipated events of the summer.
